Entity IDs

Each NMTS entity requires a globally unique ID.

A valid ID is restricted to lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, with the first character a letter or number, the last a letter or number, and a 63 character maximum. Valid IDs should match the pattern: ^[a-z0-9]([a-z0-9-]{0,61}[a-z0-9])?$. Examples IDs are satellite-1-platform, landing-station-north-america-1-network-node, user-terminal-antenna-10, etc. UUIDs are also valid.
